“Anna Akhmatova. The silver age” museum.

The museum “Anna Akhmatova.The silver age” is 26 years old. This is the first (and the only one for a long time) museum in the country dedicated to the great Russian poet A. Akhmatova and the Gumilevs family. The museum’s exposition is chronologically represented and consists of 9 halls: “Tsar’s”, “Slepnevo”, “Pye-dog”, “A travel of N.S.Gumilev”, “St.Petersburg”, “Requiem”, “Komarovo”, “A poem without a hero” and “The memory room”. The museum possesses exceptional showpieces, unique portraits of Akhamatova and Gumilev, rarity furniture, sculpture, books with Akmatova’s autographs and the books of the poet’s personal library. The museum conducts great cultural and educating work for the visitors of all age.
